The Prison Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Peshawar) Jobs 2025 have recently been announced through the Daily Mashriq newspaper.In the Prison Department, online applications are invited from suitable, active, and energetic male and female candidates belonging to the respective regional offices for regular recruitment against the following vacant posts in the offices of the Deputy Inspector General (Regional).Interested candidates who meet the required educational qualifications, physical standards, and upper age limit are eligible to apply.
The Regional Prison Office includes Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Dera Ismail Khan, and Abbottabad. The Jail Department is currently seeking dedicated individuals for positions such as Warder, Female Warder, and Gatekeeper, who can perform their duties with complete honesty and professionalism.The department welcomes candidates from minority communities and the transgender community for these employment opportunities. As per the current rules of the provincial government, quota for minorities and transgender individuals will be implemented along with general applicants. Relaxation in the upper age limit will also be allowed.
Eligibility Criteria

1: Warder Male (BPS. 07)
- No of Posts : 920
- Qualification : Matric
- Required Age : 18 to 30 years
- Minimum Hight : 05 ft 07″
- Minimum chest : 33″ × 34″ without extension 34 1/2″ × 33″ with extension
- Running : 1.6 kilometers must be completed in 7 minutes
Physical Standards for Retired Armed Forces Personnel

- Required Max Age : 40 years
- Minimum Hight : 05 ft 06″
- Minimum chest : 33″ × 32″ without extension 33 1/2″ × 32″ with extension
2: Warder Female (BPS. 07)

- Minimum Hight : 05 ft 01″
- Running : 01 kilometers must be completed in 10 minutes
3: Gate Keeper (BPS. 11)

Former Junior Commissioned Officer from Armed / Semi-Military Forces - No of Post : 05
- Required Age : 30 to 45 years
Note : All candidates must be free from any disability, and their eyesight must be 6/6 without glasses.
How to Apply for Prison Department KPK Jobs 2025
Step#01: Interested and eligible candidates are required to submit their applications online through the website www.etea.edu.pk.
Step#02: After successfully completing the online application process, candidates will be required to generate a prescribed online deposit slip, which will contain the token number, project code, and the candidate’s personal information.
Step#03: Take a printout of the generated deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee through the Easypaisa app, an Easypaisa agent, any HBL branch, Omni, or an HBL agent.
Step#04: After depositing the fee, candidates are advised to keep the original deposit slip with them, which must bear the required bank stamp.
Step#05: After applying online, candidates are not required to send their original educational documents to ETEA. However, for verification purposes, copies of the educational documents of candidates eligible for the screening test will be provided as required by the appointing authority.
Terms & Conditions
- All candidates are required to create a profile on the ETEA website and, before applying for any post, must print an E-Sahulat token from the ETEA website.
- Candidates must have their CNIC number verified from any E-Sahulat or NADRA franchise. Without such verification, candidates will not be able to apply for any post.
- Candidates who qualify the physical and running tests will be required to take a screening test. The screening test will be based on and conducted by ETEA as prescribed.
- Candidates applying for the posts of Ex-Servicemen and Gatekeepers should submit their applications directly to the concerned Deputy Inspector General, Regional Prisons Officer, instead of submitting them to ETEA authorities.
- Those who meet the above-mentioned criteria are exempted from the percentage/division requirement in the Secondary School Certificate as well as from the physical and running tests.
- Candidates intending to apply for more than one post must submit separate applications along with separate fees for each post.
