Age Limit & General Relaxation

The upper age limit for the above mentioned positions varies and has been clearly specified against each post in the advertisement below. In general, the age of candidates has been set between 18 and 50 years.However, under the official regulations of the Government of Punjab, a general age relaxation of 5 years has been granted for male candidates, while 8 years of general age relaxation has been allowed for female candidates.

Note:

In the Board of Revenue Department, employees serving in Grade 01 to 11 positions including Junior Clerk, Patwari, Driver, Baildar, Naib Qasid, Mali, Farash, Water Carrier, and Chowkidar — have been allocated a special quota for their children. This quota applies to the children of government employees serving in BS-01 to BS-05 positions, such as Junior Clerk (BS-11) and Patwari (BS-09).The quota is reserved for the children of employees who are currently serving or have retired from the relevant department or cadre. If no eligible candidate is available under the specified quota, the vacancy will be filled through open merit by direct recruitment.
