NACTA jobs 2025 have been recently announced through the newspaper daily News.Applications are invited online from Pakistani citizens to fill the following vacant positions on a contract basis in the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) under the Federal Government.Interested candidates who possess the required qualifications and experience can submit their applications online through the National Job Portal at www.njp.gov.pk to avail these career opportunities.
The organization is currently seeking hardworking and professional individuals for the positions of Senior Data Scientist (Networks) – (BPS-19) and Junior Data Scientist (Data Engineer) – (BPS-17). These employment opportunities are initially offered for a period of six months, but may be extended based on the candidates’ excellent performance. Recruitments for NACTA Jobs 2025 will be carried out on an open merit and Sindh urban quota basis to ensure equal opportunities for eligible candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
For the above mentioned positions, candidates must possess a Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification, or a Bachelor’s degree (BS or BE) in the relevant field. The maximum age limit is set between 30 to 40 years; however, a general age relaxation of 5 years will be applicable as per the Government’s prevailing policy.Individuals who are seeking employment in the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) and meet the required criteria for the positions such as educational qualifications and age limits can obtain these government jobs in Pakistan after completing the online application process.

1: Senior Data Scientist (Networks) (BPS-19)
- No of Post : 01
- Required Max Age : 40 + 5 = 45 years
- Qualification : Candidates must possess at least a Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates having 05 to 08 years of relevant experience.
2: Scientist (Data Engineer) (BPS-17)

- Required Max Age : 30 + 5 = 35 years
- Qualification : The candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree (BS or BE) in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
How to Apply Online for NACTA jobs 2025
- Eligible and suitable candidates are advised to submit their applications online through the National Job Portal (www.njp.gov.pk) within the mentioned deadline.
- Applicants will first go through the test phase. All candidates who meet the required criteria will be provisionally allowed to appear in the test; however, final eligibility will be determined after the test.
- After the final selection process, candidates will be appointed on a contract basis subject to security clearance from the relevant authorities.
- Only shortlisted and qualified candidates will be called for the test/interview. At the time of the test or interview, candidates must bring their original educational documents along with two attested copies of all academic certificates and experience certificates.
- The last date to submit the online application is within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Applications received after the due date will not be accepted under any circumstances.
